Life Of Pi Book Design, Created in 2022.

This assignment required us to choose an already published novel and redesign a book cover. I chose one of my favorite books, Yann Martel’s, Life of Pi. Life of Pi is a timeless story written in 2001, digitalized in film in 2012, and still enjoyed a decade later.

Using Adobe Indesign, I created a book template consisting of a front cover, back cover, and spine. I then used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to design the book, making sure to incorporate the title, author, publisher, blurb, and barcode. I chose to reflect this timelessness through a simple and classic design. I then printed and folded my work for it’s final presentation.
