Hey! My name is Jasmine Williams and I am a designer based in San Francisco seeking new opportunities. I enjoy anything creative that allows me to express my identity however, I specialize in graphic design, typography, and illustration.

I am currently a student at the University of San Francisco planning to graduate in the spring of 2024. I grew up in the United Kingdom, and since then, have moved around to various cities and countries. I have spent most of my time in Connecticut and have now landed in San Francisco. I fell in love with art at a young age, using crayons on any surface I could find; I have always found joy in the creative process. As I continue to grow my skills and develop as a person, the world of design only grows larger, inspiring at every stage. I am currently working with an interior design firm based in San Francisco which is helping me apply my skills professionally while gaining valuable experience.

I am passionate about problem solving through design thinking. I pay a lot of attention to details and am very intentional with my choices. I enjoy transforming ideas visually to create something memorable, functional, and beautiful. In the beginning of my design career, I had a professor tell me, “when it comes to art, you know you have accomplished your goal when you make your audience feel something.” Whether that feeling is sadness, excitement, satisfaction, relief, or any other emotion, the list goes on. It has always been my goal as a designer to elicit strong emotion through my work in order to connect with my audience and inspire those around me. I have worked with various software programs such as indesign and photoshop and am excited to use my skills to take on new challenges
