Hello!
My name is Jasmine Williams, and I’m a design and UXUI student based in San Francisco. I created ThePeopleChannel as a platform to share my creativity and artistic vision.
My art is a reflection of my mind, and I wanted to create something that visually represents how I see the world. Throughout the day, I use my iPhone camera to capture fleeting moments—people, places, and things that inspire me. Over time, my camera roll has become a personal archive, offering a unique lens into my life.
This GIF animation is a compilation of screenshots from my entire camera roll, revealing glimpses of my world—intimate moments, major milestones, funny tweet threads, and the people who mean the most to me. Each individual image is so small that it’s almost unnoticeable, but together, they form a larger picture—a mosaic of my life from a broader perspective
Branding Myself
ThePeopleChannel, website created in 2022.
ThePeopleChannel started when I was in middle school after I decided to change my Instagram handle. The name originally had no meaning but then became meaningful to me over time. As I grew as an artist, I began to realize how much art can impact the world.
In the process of branding myself, I meticulously chose a color palette, as well as created a logo mark and a logotype that displays the full name of my brand. Using Figma, I created wireframes, planning out my site. From there, I used basic HTML to code my first portfolio website.
